Loaded into the bus at 9:30 for our second University lecture in 2 days.. this time at the Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro. They appeared to be successful in the banana growing portion of the program. Although I have a smile on my face this bunch weighed a ton... I needed to do the clean and jerk to get it to my waist!! The owner of these is on the left.. our trusty driver on the right.
After a bit of searching we tracked down the lecture location and in we went.

Here Sonia is waxing on about "Team Analytics". Xaio is really starting show his sense of humor and his Chinese accent appears to be of special interest to the Tanzanians we meet.
I got a chance to talk about Alberta ranching. Saskatchewan cereal crops, and Ontario Whittamore strawberries and raspberrys ... linking my Canada heritage to the agricultural crowd we were addressing.
Oh yes... the host photo op. Good thing we had a drink during the session .... 30+C heat and high humidity. It is a good thing beverages are often provided ... another warm room.. this one though with some AC.
Oh yes... and the host photo op which we seem to do often. Today I had a morning, noon and evening shower to cool off!
On the way back trough town on the bus I decided I would just snap a picture every 20 seconds or so to give everyone a sense of what one might see. Here is what resulted ...

Hey check this out... my supper was great. I've been ordering the fish... this one Tilapia... boiled in foil and served with a light vegetable glaze. Very tasty.
It's crazy how those women can carry those huge bags on their heads!
