Today after four jam packed days we left Dar-es Salaam this morning for Morogoro one of the regions and also ... the City of Morogoro it's capital. Three and a half hour drive.. with
some very interesting sights along the way.
First wildlife experience!!! check out the monkeys walking down the median on the busy highway .. we saw this 3 or 4 times. Looked like hitch hikers ... wandering along.
Lost of sisal crops along the way today. Sisal is crop that yields a stiff fibre traditionally used in making twine, rope and surprise... dartboards. The long tree like things is the flower.

We first stopped at the Regional Commissioner's office for an offical visit.... then a market for lunch ... prior to dinner at the Arc Hotel our new home for the next 20 days or so.

We are meeting the regional librarian tomorrow (Bi (meaning (Ms.) Jacqueline) each team member decided to create a single slide of images from their country as part of our introduction. Another team used this thought very successfully in our very first kick-off meeting. Here they are:
