We returned to Morogoro Tuesday after a 6 hour delay given some Visa issues. This billboard amazed both Ross and me as Massey Ferguson sold to another manufacturer 40 years ago and our fathers as we have discovered both worked for over 30 years ... Ross's in Des Moines, Iowa mine in Saskatchewan.

Once settled a couple of us took a quick look around... I love this shot of the stairway!! Hey I get the odd good composition.
Each of us took turns going up with our country slide to explain where we were from and them speaking for 3 minutes on a collaborative technology we use at work. 150 students and staff attended! Each of the team picked a topic and spoke for 4 minutes on a tool and how we use it to collaborate. I talked about Instant Meassaging ie. Sametime.. describing how our world-wide team used it to prepare as we met virtually by phone for 3 months prior to departing for Tanzania. I showed them a screen shot of a Terry Heintz ST I got last week while preping my piece of the presentation ... half way around the world ... yet instantly communicating about a business project, a client and other things.
Aldrey dressed down for the chicks!! He and Augusto looked cool ...
This fellow ... Jerry ... happened to have a world map and was pointing out to his friend where each of us came from as we stood and presented our "we are proud of our country" slide .. a lucky fellow in row 12 caught the Canada frisbee I threw when I finished my piece... look for him in the front row of group photo below.
Off across the campus to a special lunch the professor set up for us ....
Just a couple of housing pictures on the way back... these homes seemed much more substantial than many we see. Red Brick.
Hi, I'm Prince and I study at Mzumbe University taking MSc. That kind of construction is typical here in Tanzania, it's a cost-friendly method in comparison to metal poles method and it is absolutely safe!
